The intense heat and dry steam of a sauna can damage hair follicles, making hair brittle, and quickly burn the sensitive cartilage of your ears. A properly designed hat acts as a physical shield, retaining natural moisture in your hair and deeply covering vulnerable areas from heat damage.

Wool is naturally antibacterial and dirt-resistant. After your session, simply let the hat air dry in a well-ventilated room. If washing is absolutely necessary, hand wash it gently in cold water to prevent the wool fibers from shrinking and losing their shape.
